Anastasia Mudraya
Anastasia Mudraya, LSWAIC (she/her) moved to the United States from Russia at age sixteen. She started in an American high school and didn’t know English. This experience led her to work with refugee and immigrant populations in an English as a Second Language program where she helped newcomers find jobs and resources to improve their lives.
Her work with immigrants caused Anastasia to seek a degree in social work so she could better serve people going through life transitions. She attended Eastern Washington University for her bachelor's degree and enjoyed an internship with a refugee agency and with youth exiting foster care. Anastasia finished her master’s degree at the same school in 2020.
During her internship with young people exiting foster care, Anastasia discovered a passion for helping people navigating traumatic experiences. She used that experience to excel in her current role with the Department of Children Youth and Families.
Anastasia comes to Blue Agave Therapy and Wellness Services on a mission to help people heal and navigate life’s difficulties.
